(Or… writing on)
I can’t wait for you to meet Michael.
I’m sorry if I’ve said that before, but the best part of book 3 is that you’ll get to meet my (and my editor’s) favorite character. Its true that my characters are each special to me, but this one is the most… idealistic.
If the world had more Michaels in it I think it would be a much kinder place. He’s engaging and interesting, nuanced and warm. DId you know he has 3 sisters? Well, I didn’t either until I started writing book 3. (you’re going to love them, by the way).
Book 2 (Rescued)
…is on my editor’s desk for another round of revisions because of my (necessary but very late) changes, but you’re going to love the final version. It’s worth waiting for, trust me. Rescued will be out in August (most likely) with Recovery quick to follow in the fall.
I promise to give you a peek at the book 2 cover art as soon as my artist puts the finishing touches on for the ebook!
I haven’t forgotten about open-ended storylines I’m sure you’ve noticed in book 1 and I promise you there will be a few more in book 2. Only so when these wily characters step forward with their stories you’re going to be as excited as I will for them.
Jared and Sarah, however, get their happy ending, don’t worry.
Book 3 (Recovery)
…is sitting on my desk and still in adolescence but don’t worry, Michael and Jade are telling me more and more every day about how they want their story told. Lucky for us, I type 100 wpm! It’ll be ship shape in no time.
Writing a book, is relaxing. Freewriting is my favorite part of this book publishing thing, so I do it as quickly as I can and in every free moment.
As for the personal side of things…
I spend all the time not writing enjoying the exercise, good food, hiking and sunsets the Jersey summer has to offer. I’m a better writer and a happier person with balance, it turns out. Don’t worry, you’ll get your three books this year, but then I will be taking things a little slower.
Book 4 should be out in Jan/Feb 2024 and the next will follow in the summer.
How many books are there?
I don’t know. I guess there will be books for as long as there are characters with stories that need to be told. Considering my character profiles now make up over 100 pages–it might be a while.
